Not bad at all !
Not the most attractive MP3 out there and slightly cumbersome with the control buttons right beside one another. The headphones are basic in appearance, but they really produce quality sound - honestly, they really do!! The only thing is that they have a tendency to fall out of your ears when running or jogging probably because they have that cheapy stretchy foamy stuff over the speaker piece, or that my ears are a little on the big side....but thats really it on the negative side. This is an extremely modest MP3 player in appearance; it's very small and light, very user friendly with a very direct menu function, has sufficient storage capacity, packs one hell of a punch to the ears (not even at full volume) and has an amazing battery life. Its fully charged in two hours, albeit from a USB connection. It synchs easily to any download sights, you just drag and drop, no probs. Overall it's a black and white no frills does what it says on the tin piece of kit and really does account for itself very well walloping out the sounds. I seriously under-estimated this player when I took it out of the packaging.........Was I Wrong!!
good for the price
i bought this as an emergency mp3 for when my main mp3 player lost battery and needed charging. this was a stop gap player and also used for listening to new albums - decide on my fave songs then transfer those to my main player meaning it didnt get clogged up with stuff i didnt want to listen to.
so - good points
- its small, cheap and has nice metal finish
- easy and simple to use
- has better sound quality than my main mp3 (a creative zen)- i hear much more subtle touches and instruments on songs than i ever did on the other more expensive one. in fact it was so good i am thinking of buying a phillips next as my main one.
bad points
- it has boring display
- volume even at full isnt loud enough
- control buttons on front although nice and simple - are fiddly.
as usual headphones supplied are pants - but thats standard nowadays.
i have lost my main mp3 player and been using this one - although quality of music reproduction is good - its simply not a joy to use really.
but for a simple no frills mp3 player its good for the price - or to use as a back up like me.
hope this helps
relatively small, long lasting battery, pretty good sound (even with its earphones). insanely and annoyingly small commands.
relatively small, long lasting battery, pretty good sound (even with its earphones).
BUT insanely and annoyingly small commands (e.g.when you try to push the forward button is difficult not to push "play/pause").
unfriendly software.
SMALL SCREEN
SCREEN DESCRIBES AS 1" BUT 1" x half inch would be more accurate
Other wise very good.
spot on
